Imaginary Reader, this is another 18-certificate post. Adults only beyond this point.
Catch up, if you need to, with part 1 (the why) and part 2 (the what).
Done that (or don’t care)? well, let’s crack on.
Ethical CNC, then: is that even a thing? Can that even be a thing? Can we do it in a context of erotic roleplaying, where we pretend to be humans who have been turned into brainwashed pleasure dolls for erotic thrills?
This question will not be answered by this post.
7. Three Truths of the Cyberdoll Manifesto
If you’ve been in a kink or RP space in SecondLife with Sian or Calypso, or, honestly, Sian’s other dollycule members, Sian’s small clique of neurodivergent genderblenders who all take the surname Harmony, you will probably have heard this mantra:
Submission is logical. Surrender is inevitable. Obedience is bliss. Submit. Surrender. Obey.
The Three Truths together make the fourth statement, which is the Cyberdoll Manifesto, the Creed of the Cyberdolls and the Blissdrones, and it is as distinct as the classic cyberdoll/blissdrone look that Sian’s former self pioneered back in 2010 or so with the Theodora Hive: shaved heads; body and head tattoos and serial numbers; visible cyber brain implants; dramatic makeup; impossibly skimpy futuristic fetishwear.
Wait, we’re not selling this as a thing to respect, are we?
Aaaanyhow. It’s well known enough in the drone-kink/rubber/hypno spaces that dolls who have been touched by the hand of Sian are sometimes recognised by interested parties as related to Sian’s work.
We Digress: Goodness, all that sounds like a massive brag, but it really isn’t, and you have to understand the context here: any celebrity Sian has in these spaces isn’t even nanocelebrity, it’s more like picocelebrity, possibly even femtocelebrity.
This is how small the field is.
SecondLife is moribund as [PURITY], remember! If you explain SecondLife to people, most of the minority who’ve heard of it will inevitably go, “Goodness! Is that still a thing?” Having said that, although the people at Linden Labs work so very hard to hide it, the vast, vast majority of holdout SecondLife users use SecondLife for Matters Adult. Correctly, Sian is only well-known in a niche community (hypno kink) within a niche community (kink) within a community that isn’t officially acknowledged (adult stuff) within a virtual world that is so out of the public view that a bunch of techbros could literally make something as unbelievably shitty as Decentraland when Second Life is much more advanced in every possible way and literally right here ffs.
The manifesto makes us cohesive and coherent.
We Believe in these things, and hold them for the Life of the World to Come. To coin a phrase.
The cyberdolls chant it regularly. It’s catchy enough and now well known enough in our customary spaces that other kinksters often join in. It’s got a rhythm to it, a sing-song, off-kilter feel that entices and repels in equal measure.
Sian made that one up many years ago. The original “Submit/Surrender/Obey” formulation came from “Love in a Silver Socket”, an early 2000s erotic sci-fi story by now-retired hypno-smut writer A. Regina Cantatis (reading it will explain much of Sian’s aesthetic). Sian found that rhythm hypnotic; she expanded on it, made each point part of what amounts to a kink ideology.
And when we interrogate her on this point, Sian has to admit that she made the words up because of their sound, that she wanted a mantra that had a sort of dystopiophile weight to it.
Huh. Dystopiophilia. Is that even a word?
We digress (again): Well, it’s a word because Sian just typed it. “Dystopiophilia” is however a word Sian just entirely made up.
Never being the sort of doll to just assume she was the first to make anything up, Sian was curious and googled it to see if it was a thing. Sian scored one of the rarest things you can in 2026, a Googlewhack! There was literally nothing, except the use of the word in one shitpost comment on a 2023 article about Ford introducing a system to snitch on drivers who don’t use seatbelts (a pretty kinky idea, honestly).
Sian, like a less-than-good doll, forgot to append “-ai” to her search, and so Google AI used the opportunity to come up with a kink-free and sexless slop definition, fully as runny, queasy and aesthetically bankrupt as anything the Planet-Wrecking Theft Machine ever produces. Fact-checking didn’t bear it out, of course — and the links it supplied were useless.
Pictured: Sian’s first Googlewhack in years. Also, accidental/futile planet wreckage. Sorry.
Well, if Google can’t find it, it must be new. Sian has therefore unilaterally decided that she’s just invented a new kink term.
Merriam-Webster format, don’t fail us now!
Dystopiophilia Noun (dys·to·pi·o·phil·ia) dis-ˈtō-pē-ə-‘fi-lé-ə A paraphilia characterised by a sexual arousal gained from imagining oneself as a victim of an imagined world or society in which people lead wretched, dehumanised, fearful lives. See: Dystopiophile.
And Sian made it up! Except she didn’t completely. Turns out dystopiaphilia with an “a” is something people use on the socials sometimes.
But that’s bad Greekish. Sian is right and the rest of the internet is wrong. Suck it, Entire Internet.
The upshot is, Sian’s just invented a new sexual fetish, and that’s her story, and she’s sticking to it, because it’s the internet and you can make any claim you want.
SIan’s a dystopiophile now. Eh, there are worst kinks to have.
8. Submission is Logical
Hang on, where were we?
Submit. Surrender. Obey. There we are.
And Sian admits it, she came up with the words for their sounds, in an attempt to retrofit a mantra that took her attention and make it more fleshed out, and make it make sense. But the ideological sense came after the rhythm, and the rhythm came after the initial three-word mantra. This is back-to-front. Sian has no excuse for that, but Sian is also very good at making ex post facto justifications for fictional things (and RL! Sian even does it professionally, believe it or not).
See, the thing is, the Cyberdoll Manifesto actually works. It frames the inner process that leads us into making a dreadful and permanent bargain. This is the dystopiophile part of it. We don’t want this in real life. In real life, fighting is worthwhile. Surviving is worthwhile. Living is a thing we do, and keeping one’s soul is everything. But in the realm of roleplaying and kink, don’t you want to know what it would be like to be made into a tool of the machine? Wouldn’t it be sort of hot?
It matters to Sian that her dystopiophile kinks make sense. Those sci-fi smut stories where they talk about floods of people being desperate to join sexy drone hives always annoy Sian. Also, Sian finds a lot of sci-fi kink roleplay troubling, in the sense that it’s basically Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. She remembers long ago visiting a SecondLife drone hive where they explained that they erased the minds of their drones and then replaced their bodies with artificial rubber-coated ones, and um, well, if you change the head of a broom and then change the handle of a broom, wouldn’t you just be better off getting a new broom? Why go to all that trouble to convert a human into a drone when you could just build a robot with the same machinery?
Sian has played in so many places for so long because she wants this sexual fantasy to make sense as a story and people have vibed with that. The people who get that there is a narrative throughline in the kink are the ones who have stuck around.
We are still digressing: The ones who stick around, like Calypso in the pictures here, who Sian’s first account met in Second Life in 2010 and who stayed and stayed. She’s someone who Sian always wound up bumping into and eventually seeking out. She’s Sian’s longest standing play partner, her oldest friend in SecondLife and now her virtual wife. Calypso gets it. She knows. Sian loves her deeply.
But yes. If you’re going to give in to horror, Sian needs the arc of giving in to make narrative and emotional sense. It’s the same reason she never got into porn, honestly. She could never reconcile the plot.
Yes, we know.
Submission is logical because it makes sense to give in. You’re tired. You’re lonely. You’ve been fighting for so long and there’s so much horror, and we can take you in and you won’t have to worry anymore. You’ll be fed. You’ll have a job. All you have to do is give us your body and your will, your aspirations and your hope and your dignity. It’s not really like you were using them anyway.
It makes sense. And isn’t that terrifying and delicious?
9. Surrender is inevitable.
Submission is logical. It makes sense. It is the final result of the thought process. The first step, then, was intellectual acceptance, the calculus of erotic despair, and so the second step is emotional acceptance. If submission is logical, surrender is inevitable. You hand yourself over to control because there is nothing else left to do. Why would you not?
And here’s the thing, this is always how we accept things. It’s how we accept grief. It’s how we accept that we might actually be all right people. It’s how we accept that we might be able to live authentically. We understand that these things we don’t want to accept, good, bad, and annihilating, are real and we do it intellectually. And it might take a while to do so, but eventually we have come to terms with them, and internalise , because we have to. We have no other choice. Internalising inevitability is part of who we are.
In the dystopiophile fantasy, it’s about letting the despair win and getting hot for that. It’s about changing sides because you can’t win, and capitulating to the unthinkable. You hand yourself over and let someone else take the reins, like that bit in The Ballad of Halo Jones where Ludy can’t cope with living poor and in fear all the time in a dystopian future city, so she gives in and gets a brain implant so she doesn’t have to think or dream anymore.
Ludy in Alan Moore’s 2000AD strip The Ballad of Halo Jones Book One, post-implant.
And of course in a meta sense, it’s about understanding that we don’t need to be ashamed. We talked a little before about shame before. Internalising that shame isn’t necessary in the right context is central. But we accept intellectually that giving into our desires makes sense, and might even be healthy, then internalising that makes it all so much better.
10. Obedience is bliss.
There are so many moving parts here. But essentially, giving in and submitting is where fulfilment comes. If submission is logical, then surrender is, consequently inevitable. And you accept that and let yourself be taken and changed and there’s no reason to be ashamed or sad or despairing anymore because those parts are burned out of you, and you just do what your told and get deep erotic rewards from it. Obedience is bliss.
Again, it works as a story of erotic fulfilment in capitulating to the horrific because it is a twisted appropriation of the way we find acceptance in ourselves. We understand that accepting our grief, our loss, our situation, our selves makes sense. We finally understand that the only way forward is to internalise this emotionally. We find fulfilment and integration when we let go.
And that’s why Sian made it her kink manifesto: because it is the story of assimilating the struggle of living, overlaid on the story of, um, kinky sex doll cyborgs assimilating other sex dolls.
11. If you’re happy and you know it, overthink.
What, overthinking? Us? Surely not.
Well, maybe a bit.
Oh, all right, it’s a fair cop.
Still, why can’t we overthink? Second Life is a noetic space, after all, and finding connection in Noetic eroticism is literally what most of us do.
Anyway, in the next instalment of Sian’s kinky manifesto-ation, we’ll really get into overthinking, when we explain for maybe a third time how we get from here to a 20th century surrealist philosopher’s obsession with a headless man and why that’s a thing for us.

…and we have opinions about it.
Notesabout the shoot (don’t get used to this, Imaginary Reader): [1] The Blythe Catsuit is very nice but despite having compatibility with Avec Toi’s various footwear, it really doesn’t play well with other things, which is why Sian doesn’t have her customary metal left hand, and why there’s a lack of collars, belts, gloves and the like. You just can’t accessorise with it without a bit of work. [2] No, you can’t buy this stuff. It’s made by Sian for herself and her family. Please stop asking. [3] Perhaps it’s ironic, but shortly afterthat post where she complained about not being able to get her skin right, Sian picked up the Skinnery’s mature Anais skin in the August Collabor88, and matched it with the Orra mature body skin, and frankly she hasn’t worn anything else. It’s in the Goldilocks spot: not too young, not too old, not too smooth, not too wonky. It doesn’t have any issues with the fitting of eyelids or weird placement of wrinkles. It just works. Will Sian find a better one? Maybe. Not yet. [4] Damn, those ginormous love cushions make posing tricky. Caly loves being thicc and curvy though. She’s taken to it like a duck to water, if the duck were a really pervy doll and the water was a caricature porn star body. [5] The Firestorm Animate button made a huge difference in the composition here. Obviously making poseballs would be a pain, so what we did was have Calypso stand in a spot, and then Sian took the pose and then scooted herself around to match. Absolute goddess-send. [6] Like with every mesh backdrop, physics can be tricky, and this very nice backdrop by Zeroichi indeed has slight issues with physics, meaning Sian and Caly hovered over the ground a bit with it in the natural. Rather than coordinate hover heights, Sian made the backdrop phantom and rezzed a transparent prim over the floor so we could just walk on it. We’re sorry if this ruins the magic.
